Clicx offers three efficient methods to add tracers—Passive, Active, BLE, or Quupa—to an existing asset. This guide provides detailed step-by-step instructions for both desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless integration of tracers with assets.

Methods for Adding a Tracer

• Manually via the Clicx desktop version.
• Scanning a QR code with the Clicx mobile app.
• Manually connecting tracers through the Clicx mobile app without using QR codes.

1. Adding a New Asset

Mobile Application Instructions

1. Open the Clicx mobile app and navigate to the Home screen.
2. Tap on New Asset.
3. Fill out the required asset information fields.
4. Tap Create to add the new asset to the system.

Desktop Version Instructions

2. Linking a Tag to an Asset

Mobile Application Instructions

1. Open the Clicx mobile app and scan the tag attached to the asset.
2. When prompted, tap on the Unregistered Tag field.
3. Select New Asset to input asset details, or choose Existing Asset to link the tag to an asset from the list. 

Desktop Version Instructions

1. Go to the Assets page and select the desired asset from the list.
2. In the asset’s detailed view, scroll down to the Tags section.
3. Click Link Tag to Asset.
4. Choose the appropriate tag type (e.g., Barcode, QR code, or Clicx tag).
5. Enter the tag’s unique ID in the designated field.
6. Finalize the process by clicking Pair Tag to link the tracer with the asset.
